Data Engineer
Что предстоит делать
We’re hiring a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions supporting BI, analytics, operational reporting, and data-driven decision-making. The role will work with data from trading, CRM, payment, financial, and other operational systems. You will build and optimize ETL/ELT processes, model data using fact and dimension tables and star-schema concepts, create and maintain stored procedures, views, functions, and other database objects, and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, SSAS, or other BI platforms. You will ensure data quality, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring across environments, troubleshoot data-related issues in development and production, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. The position is remote and part of a 3–6 month contract.

- 2+ years professional experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics Engineering, or a similar data-focused role
- Strong knowledge of SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, window functions, query optimisation, and data manipulation
- Practical experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
- Experience with relational databases and data warehouse solutions
- Knowledge of data modelling, including fact and dimension tables and star-schema concepts
- Experience with stored procedures, views, functions, and other database objects
- Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and/or Power BI
- At least 1 year of experience with Power BI or a comparable BI/reporting platform
- Experience with data quality, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring
- Experience troubleshooting data-related issues across development and production environments
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
