Project Manager for a fintech project (remote)
Что предстоит делать
Velmie is looking for an experienced Project Manager to work on a fintech project. The role is remote and part-time (project-based work). Pay is $20–23/hour (gross). Responsibilities include managing the project plan, sprints, tasks, dependencies, and deadlines; understanding business needs and analyzing use cases; clarifying details; representing Velmie’s interests in client meetings; coordinating with various departments; identifying risks and proposing corrective measures; and assisting in creating and updating project documentation. The ideal candidate has experience working on fintech or digital banking projects, basic understanding of development processes, knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint planning, familiarity with frontend, backend, API, sprints, user stories, financial systems (KYC, KYB, wallets, cards, compliance), English level C1, professionalism in client communication, willingness to learn, ability to organize and prioritize tasks, and experience with Jira. Candidates from Russia are not considered.

- Experience working on fintech projects or digital banking projects – REQUIRED
- Basic understanding of the development process
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint planning principles
- Understanding of software development processes: frontend, backend, API, sprints, user stories
- Basic understanding of financial systems (KYC, KYB, wallets, cards, compliance)
- English level C1 (fluent)
- Professionalism in client communication
- Willingness to ask questions, learn quickly, adapt to new information
- Ability to organize work and prioritize when handling multiple tasks
- Experience with Jira (preferred)
